Your Facebook Account has 3 passwords!!

You might be surprised to know that your Facebook account can be logged in with multiple passwords!!..The 1st password is user generated and the remaining two are Facebook generated which are nothing but just toggling the characters of your password into upper case and lower case.

Multiple Facebook Logins

You don’t just have multiple passwords on Facebook, you can log into Facebook using multiple usernames as well.

The default username is the email address that is associated to your Facebook account but you can also login using your Facebook username (that’s in the vanity URL of your Facebook profile page). Similarly, if you have associated your mobile number with Facebook (which you should for security reasons), you can use that mobile number as your username on the Facebook login screen.

A Stack Exchange thread pointed me to this ZDNet story that explains why Facebook allows users to login through multiple passwords. According to Facebook:

We accept three forms of the user’s password to help overcome the most common reasons that authentic logins are rejected. In addition to the original password, we also accept the password if a user inadvertently has caps lock enabled or their mobile device automatically capitalizes the first character of the password.

Thus, if you have accidentally enabled CAPS Lock on the keyboard, the toggled password would still work on Facebook.

Indian Government asks Google,Yahoo,Facebook,Microsoft to Screen User Content Online..!!

The INDIAN Government has asked Internet companies like Google etc, and Social Networking companies like Facebook to prescreen user content which includes any single tweet,photo,video or even a blog post from INDIA and remove any disparaging,slanderous and abusive content before it goes online!!...

At the meeting, Mr. Sibal showed attendees a Facebook page that maligned the Congress Party’s president, Sonia Gandhi.  “This is unacceptable,” he told attendees, the executive said, and he asked them to find a way to monitor what is posted on their sites.

In the second meeting with the same executives in late November, Mr. Sibal told them that he expected them to use human beings to screen content, not technology, the executive said.

Some Indian cities like Mumbai have already set up special units to monitor Internet sites like Facebook and Orkut, the social networking site operated by Google, for content considered disparaging or obscene.

Easy way to find the Serial Number and Model of your Computer/Laptop !!

Usually we can find the serial number of the computer especially for desktop's at the back or even at more harder-to-reach location and for laptop's it is at  the base i.e. we need to turn the laptop upside down to see the serial number.


If you don't want to do all these gimmick's i.e all those physical stretches,there is a more simpler way.The below commands work for Windows-XP/7


1.Open the command prompt (Start –> CMD) and type the following command:

wmic bios get serialnumber

2.Another command that will print the model number of your computer :

wmic csproduct get name, identifyingnumber
